So there’s a little used car lot nearby that often has quirky old cars, but yesterday I was in a passenger seat driving by their newest grouping and thought of you guys. Honestly, not my cup of tea, but maybe you can tell me something about them?
I know white one is a Tbird!
Not sure the BMW fits in this crowd.
I know the red one is a Porsche 914!
So, why was I in the passenger seat? Because my dumb passenger rear tire has a nail in it and new tires aren’t coming until Wednesday :(
So much for weekend driving plans.

Mid 70's Chevy C/K.
Mercedes-Benz 450SL
Final gen TBird
BMW 3-Series, probably 335i
Porsche 914
I think that’s a Type 3, not a Squareback.

That body style was 68-72, 73 ushered in the new one.

Ah, you are right sir. I missed the bumper mounted turn signals. The mid-late 70's C/K could be found with round lights and a very similar grill. But it had the turn signals under the lights. This definitely is pre-’73.

Squareback and Type 3 are one and the same; Squareback refers to the Type 3 station wagon. Period ads/materials featured both names, but mainly used the mode names 1500 and 1600.

The Chevy truck is a 1971 or 1972; I believe it’s a 1971 because the 1972’s had the rear view mirror hanging from the windshield; it does not appear to be there in the picture.
The Type III is the second generation of that model and the Squareback body style.

Awesome! I knew this place would know these vehicles even with potato pics. I should do this more often.
